Types of Counseling Services

I offer individual, couples, and group counseling for adults in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Each type of counseling is designed to provide a safe, supportive space where you can explore challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, burnout, and relationship struggles. Sessions are available in-person or via secure telehealth, and are tailored to meet your goals at your own pace.

  • I provide individual therapy for adults navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, co-dependency, burnout, grief, relational issues and emotional overwhelm. Our work is collaborative and paced with care, creating space to slow down, understand what’s happening within your nervous system, and explore experiences that may still be shaping how you feel or relate today.

Sessions may include trauma-informed approaches such as EMDR, parts work, and sandtray therapy, always guided by what feels supportive and appropriate for you. These methods help you process experiences in a way that feels contained and manageable, often by working with the body and emotions, not just words. Not every approach is used with every client. We decide together what feels most supportive.

  • I approach couples therapy from a systemic perspective, meaning we look at the patterns, dynamics, and emotional cycles that develop between partners rather than focusing on one person as the problem. Often, these patterns are shaped by stress, past experiences, and each partner’s nervous system.

Our work together focuses on slowing things down, increasing emotional safety, and helping both partners feel seen and understood. With greater awareness and support, couples can begin responding to one another with more clarity, compassion, and connection.

  • I will be offering group therapy in collaboration with SOULSHINE Counseling + Wellness. Groups will be thoughtfully designed to provide a supportive, relational space for connection, regulation, and shared understanding.

Details will be shared as groups become available. You’re welcome to check back here or reach out if you’d like to be notified when groups begin.
